A training workshop on investment classification and provisioning reports was held at Al-Arafah Islami Bank under the Master Circular issued by the Banking Regulations and Policies Department of Bangladesh Bank. Managing Director (CC) of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the training workshop as the chief guest on Tuesday, August 19. Deputy Managing Director Md. Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan was present as the special guest.
In his speech as the chief guest, Md. Rafat Ullah Khan said that all the officers and employees of the bank should work sincerely to ensure quick investment recovery. Because, this is very important for the sustainable growth of depositors, shareholders and the Bank. In the coming days, sustainable development should be ensured by increasing quality small and medium investments.
At this time, he advised the participants of the training to learn the new classification reporting system properly and apply it in practice. The training workshop was presided by the Principal of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) Md. Abdur Rahim Duary. Senior Vice President Touhid Siddique and senior officials were also present at the workshop. 55 investment officers from various branches participated in the workshop.
