Al-Arafah Islami Bank, the country’s leading Sharia-compliant bank, has launched the “Ramadan Remittance Campaign – 2026” to encourage and honor its expatriate remittance clients on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Under this campaign, remittance customers will have the opportunity to win attractive prizes including motorcycle, laptop, refrigerator and smartphones. The remittance campaign will be conducted at all branches, sub-branches and agent outlets of the bank until March 20.
Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Md. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the campaign at a function organized at the bank’s head office on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Mohammed Hossain, S. M. Abu Zafar, SEVP Md. Abdul Mubin and EVP Mir Md. Hasanul Zahed were also present at the event.
At the inaugural ceremony, Md. Rafat Ullah Khan said that expatriate Bangladeshis are one of the main driving forces of the country’s economy and the remittances they send are making an important contribution to national development. He emphasized on the use of legal and banking channels for sending remittances and said that the bank’s goal through this campaign is to express gratitude to its customers and further encourage them. He sincerely urged all the concerned officers and employees to make the campaign a success and instructed them to provide the highest quality services to the customers.
