A two-day long ‘Town Hall Meeting’ of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Chattogram Zone has started at Best Western SKS Hotel in the port city on 9th May 2025, Friday. Managing Director (Current Charge) of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the Town Hall Meeting as Chief Guest. Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Md. Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury and Md. Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan were present on the occasion.

Among others Senior Executive Vice President Akhter Kamal, Senior Executive Vice President & CFO (Current Charge) Kamal Hossain, Executive Vice President Md. Tariqul Islam, Sharafat Ullah, Md. Nazim Uddin, Senior Vice President Mohammad Amir Hossain and top executives of the head office were present on the occasion. Chattogram Zonal Head and Executive Vice President Jamshed Ahmed Chowdhury thanked everyone for attending the meeting. Officials of 20 branches of Chattogram Zone of the Bank participated the first day of the two-day long Town Hall Meeting.

Speaking as the chief guest, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan said, “All of us who are associated with this organization are a family. The town hall is an important platform for us to connect, review progress and determine our future course of action. As the tagline for 2025, we have adopted “Balancing Business with Shariah”, which is not just a slogan, but a symbol of our responsibility and commitment.

He also said, “We want each of our branches to increase the quality of services through Shariah-based banking and capitalize on the trust of the customers. It will be possible to build a sustainable and modern Islamic Bank only by working together with the opinions of all. ”
